Daniel Chang

Managing Director, Investment and Asset Management

Mr. Chang is a Managing Director within the Investment Management team at Hines, based in London.  He joined Hines in July 1999 and throughout his 20-year career has held various roles ranging from construction manager to asset manager to portfolio manager. In his most recent role, he coordinated all asset management activities for the Hines Pan-European Core Fund, including spearheading the sustainability strategy for the Fund and its submission into the GRESB survey.  For the last three years GRESB has awarded HECF as the Sector Leader and highest rating sustainable fund in Europe.

In previous roles at Hines, Mr. Chang worked in the development management of the 4,320 sqm Salustiano luxury residential in Madrid, the 27,000 sqm Benrather Karree office building in Dusseldorf and the 33,000 sqm Illa del Llac residential complex in Barcelona. He began his career at Hines as assistant construction manager of the 50,000 sqm EDF office tower in Paris. Prior to Hines, Mr. Chang worked as an architect at Architecture Studio in Paris. Mr. Chang holds a BSc degree in Architecture from the University of Maryland and an MBA and MS in Urban Planning from Columbia University in New York City.
